Research has discovered that the planet, found in the Milky Way, has a very high density meaning that it can’t be made out of gases such as hydrogen and helium like most stars but heavier elements such as carbon and oxygen as a crystalline form like diamond.

The star is five time the earths diameter and lies about 4000 light years away.
