I recently discovered Liz Earle eye cream through various recommendations. This is by far the best eye cream I have come across

Made of 100% natural ingredients, this triple action eye cream reduces fine lines, brightens dark circles and has SPF 10 to help protect. Even the SPF is natural by using mineral sun filters that reflect rather than absorb the UVA and UVB rays

  1. ANTI DARK CIRCLE: Having dark circles this eye cream is great because it reflects these circles without having to use makeup.
  2. MOISTURIZING: I can get very dry skin so this eye cream is perfect as it delicately most arises my skin
  3. CONSISTENCY:  The cream is a great consistency and soaks into the skin quickly.
  4. NATURAL: Liz Earle uses only natural ingredients such as borage oils and pro vitamin b5

  1. Borage Oil (Borago officials) Nicknamed the herb of gladness by the Romans because of its use in treating depression. The beautiful star shaped flowers of this plant give way to tiny seeds crammed with a health promoting plant oil. This oil is one of the richest sources of the essential fatty acid GLA (gamma linolenic acid), which helps to lock moisture onto the skin.
  2. Titanium Dioxide Titanium Dioxide occurs naturally as the mineral ‘Rutile’ but it is almost always coloured due to contamination with materials such as Iron Oxides. Titanium Dioxide is very effective at reflecting UV light and hence ideal for use as a component in sun protection products. The Titanium Dioxide we use in our Sun Shade is produced from mineral sources and undergoes several processes to ensure its purity.
  3. Beta-caroteneBeta-carotene is one of the orange/yellow pigments responsible for the colour of many fruits and vegetables such as carrots, oranges,  pricots. It is also widely found in green leafy vegetables but its colour is masked by the green chlorophyll. This is why when the level of chlorophyll in leaves falls during autumn the leaves turn a reddish colour as the beta-carotene becomes visible. Beta-carotene has antioxidant properties.
  4. D-panthenol Otherwise known as pro-vitamin B5, this B vitamin is necessary for the normal functioning of the skin and has a moisturising effect. It also helps stimulate cellular renewal.
  5. Echinacea Extract (Echinacea angustifolia/purpurea) This pretty flower from the same family as sunflowers and daisies has striking purple petals. It is said to be named because the spiky conical seed head in the centre of the petals resembles a hedgehog (echinos is Greek for hedgehog). Native Americans first used this plant and it has since been used widely in herbal preparations ever since for anything ranging from colds and flu to skin conditions.
  6. Vitamin E (Tocopherol) This antioxidant helps protect skin against free radical damage caused by pollution and the sun’s radiation. We only use premium natural-source vitamin E which is up to three times more potent than the synthetic variety.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

Philip Kingsley has been called “The Hair Doctor” by The Times and “The Hair Guru” by The New York Times, he was born in London and has been a practising trichological consultant since 1957.One of his best products is the mutli award winning Philip Kingsley Elasticizer.

‘The Philip Kingsley Elesticizer was originally created by Philip Kingsley specifically for Audrey Hepburn, who wanted a super-moisturising treatment that would repair her hair and keep it in great condition throughout the frequent colouring and styling done to her hair on movie sets. This is a pre-shampoo intensive moisturizing treatment that delivers elasticity, bounce and shine to hair. Also provides UV protection even after washing, helping prolong the life of colour treated hair. Visible results from one application that improves with continued use. It is also fragrance free’.

My verdict: an excellent product for a pre-wash hair treatment. It prevents my ends from coming damaged from heat when styling. It will keep your ends in good condition which helps your hair grow longer. I think it is the perfect product for people with fine and brittle hair as it actually fixes the problem and prevents further damage to your ends and lengths. I highly recommend this hair care product. Thank you Audrey Hepburn.

‘My look is attainable. Women can look like Audrey Hepburn by flipping out their hair, buying the large sunglasses, and the little sleeveless dresses.

Over the past few years I have been in search of finding effective hair care products to repair and protect my hair. I have naturally fragile hair so it is important that I to keep it replenished and protected. I have managed to find some excellent products that I now cannot go anywhere without that do just this.

Here are my 4 best finds for protecting and replenishing my hair:

1)  Moroccan Oil, The Original Oil Treatment For All Hair Types. I have just recently discovered this product and it is absolutely amazing, it is by far my new favourite product, my hair seems to absolutely love it. It makes my hair look and feel incredibly shiny, smooth and soft. You put a little on damp hair and style as usual. It is especially good for hot holidays where your hair can look and feel dry. Thank you Jan for introducing it to me.

2) Shu Uemura, Silk Bloom Restorative Treatment: This is one of the best treatments for restoring my hair after the sun, sea, and excessive styling. I can really feel the difference after using this treatment and I always decant some when I go on holiday to revive my hair. This treatment does come at a cost, it is quite expensive, however it does last an amazingly long time and it really does work. If this product is too pricey then the next product is a great alternative treatment that is also excellent and replenishing my hair and is a lot more affordable

3)  John Frieda Frizz-Ease Miraculous Recovery Strengthening Crème Masque: This product is also excellent at replenishing my hair. It makes it feel stronger and softer and my hair really enjoys this treatment. This hair treatment is a lot more affordable than the Shu Umera treatment yet still effective so it is a good alternative. I often buy this product due to this fact.

John Frieda Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner 250ml

4)  Kerastase, Nectar Thermique: This product is a great hair protector especially if you often style your hair. It works with the heat of styling which is why I like this product. You apply a small amount to damp hair after a shower and leave it in and then style as usual. Since using this product I can tell a difference in my hair because it really does protect it well

MY top 4 affordable shoe brands in the UK, with examples of my favourites in store at the moment. CLICK ON THE PICTURE TO VIEW THE BRAND WEBSITE

  •  Dune-Dune do some really lovely classic and simple shoes, I found that over the past few years their shoe collections have really developed and they usually have a few gems in store. There is a big sale on at the moment as well. ONES I LIKE AT THE MOMENT

  • New Look– you will need to rummage through the shoes and try a lot on which can take time but there is usually one pair that looks a million dollars and has only burnt a small hole in your pocket of £24.99, you cant get much better than that. ONES I LIKE AT THE MOMENT
Tan (Stone) Cut Out Peeptoe Heels | 224028618 | New Look

  • Zara- Zara shoes are really lovely and look really expensive. Always wait for the sales, because they have so many shoes and stores, there are always plenty to choose from in the sale. I don’t normally like sales because I find them stressful but I brave the madness for Zara shoes. ONES THAT I LIKE SO MUCH IN THE SALE I PURCHASED THEM:

  • Topshop– These shoes can be a little more pricey but they are always such fun and are usually quite unusual with some eccentric designs and they look a lot more expensive with many looking very similar to designers shoes. I don’t normally wait for the shoe sales at topshop because my size, being a 5, always run out. ONES I LIKE AT THE MOMENT
